Are you a whizz with SolidWorks, love seeing a project through from start to finish, and thrive on juggling plenty of moving parts? Then this one’s for you!
We’re looking for a Project Engineer who’s just as happy sketching out 3D models as they are keeping projects on track, chatting with clients, and making sure everything runs to time and budget. You’ll get variety, ownership, and the chance to work on some seriously exciting high-tech projects.

· Take ownership of projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion.
· Manage multiple contracts at once, keeping clients, teams and stakeholders fully updated.
· Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
· Create and maintain drawings and documentation, working closely with other engineers.
· Produce 3D models, renders and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks.
· Support projects with 2D layouts and site documentation using AutoCAD.
· Review technical specifications and customer documents ahead of project reviews.
· Prepare technical documents including proposals, programmes and component selections.
· Work through concepts, calculations, FMEAs and design reviews to meet project requirements.
· Support all stages of the project lifecycle, from design through to commissioning.
· Ensure compliance with codes, standards, QA/QC policies and client specifications.
· Monitor budgets, schedules and project progress, reporting regularly to stakeholders.
· Track costings, proposals and material orders to keep projects on target.
· Identify and manage any changes to project scope, securing additional costs where needed.
· Liaise with suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and delivery.
· Always stay on top of project status and make sure all parties are fully informed.
