Villani Landshapers is seeking a Project Engineer to support our commercial landscape construction team by keeping projects organized, on schedule, and on budget. This is a primarily office-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, paperwork, schedules, and logistics behind the scenes to ensure successful project delivery. If you're motivated to learn and grow, this position can provide a clear pathway to a Project Manager or similar advancement role within approximately 2–3 years. Requirements As a Project Engineer, you'll work closely with our Project Managers and internal teams to help keep projects moving efficiently from kickoff to closeout. Responsibilities include: Coordinating with Project Managers, Operations, Designers, and Foremen Reviewing contracts and project plans to support material ordering and scheduling Preparing work orders, change orders, project documentation, and field paperwork Monitoring job costs and assisting with project financial reporting Coordinating equipment and material deliveries with internal departments Managing submittals and helping prepare as-built documentation Supporting warranty claims and project closeout activities Creating reports and assisting with final job cost analysis Communicating proactively with clients, vendors, and team members Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiency Participating in winter snow operations as needed This Role Is a Great Fit If You… Have 1–2 years of landscape construction or related construction experience Enjoy organization, planning, and keeping multiple priorities on track Are comfortable working in an office environment while collaborating with field operations Have strong communication and customer service skills Are proficient with Microsoft Office and eager to learn new software Think critically, solve problems, and take initiative Want to build a long-term career with opportunities for advancement Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Optional life, accident, critical illness, and short-term disability coverage 401(k) retirement plan Paid holidays and vacation Company uniform program Supportive team culture with opportunities for professional growth
