Description
Overview The successful candidate will be an integral member of the Site's Project Engineering team, reporting into the Site's CAPEX leader and be responsible for all aspects of Mechanical, Utilities, and Building Fabric Capital Projects. Responsibilities Participating in the long-term project selection and prioritization process. Collaborate with key stakeholders to design a viable solution for the proposed project. Provide a preliminary (+/- 30%) cost estimate based on the initial design. Oversee the Management of Change process for the proposed project design. Participating in the vendor selection process. Development and accountability for detailed (+/- 10%) project costing. Overseeing all aspects of the project implementation, construction, and commissioning including: - Management (safety, quality, reliability, performance) of the selected contractors. - Full project documentation (P&ID's, SOP's, SLD's, etc.). - Financial control and reporting. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of proven Project Engineering experience Minimum of 5 years of Steam and Process pipework knowledge experience Foundational mechanical qualifications (i.e. HNC/HND, City & Guilds, etc.) Experience or working knowledge of ATEX environments HSE based professional qualifications (i.e. IOSH / NEBOSH) Proven track record of contractor management CAD experience SAP experience Microsoft Office Suite experience
