LOCATION: CLYDE

We are looking for a Project Engineer Civil’s bias to join our team supporting the Clyde framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex civil construction projects, with a strong understanding of the regulatory requirements and safety protocols required in the nuclear industry.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the planning, design, and construction of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise in civil engineering, construction management, and quality assurance to ensure projects are completed within budget, scope, and schedule.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop project plans and schedules, and coordinate activities to ensure timely completion of milestones.
  • Review design documents and construction specifications, and ensure they are in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment, and facilities.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure they meet project requirements and deliverables.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work is being performed according to plans and specifications.
  • Manage project budgets and costs, including change orders and risk mitigation strategies.

TO THRIVE IN THE ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience in civil construction project management.
  • Experience in the nuclear industry is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements in the nuclear industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing complex projects from conception to completion.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
