This role will be working within the Anglian Water Integrated Maintenance and Repair Water Recycling Alliance comprising of Anglian Water, Clancy, Claret Civil Engineering, Public Sewer Services and Danaher & Walsh, the IMR WRA manages planned and emergency sewer, rising mains and SMART technology installation as well as maintenance and repair across the region.

Responsibilities

The role of the Project Engineer is to provide technical and commercial expertise to enable the development of the detailed planning and subsequent delivery of capital programmes of work.
The Project Engineer will monitor, review and manage the parcels/projects of work to ensure that high standards of safety, sustainability and cost control are maintained throughout. In addition, the Project Engineer will identify, manage and escalate risks where necessary to guarantee the best outcome for the business/alliance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the enabling activities to facilitate the delivery of planned/emergent capital projects.
  • Develop solutions in line with corporate governance and delivery route goals.
  • Adhere to all relevant governances especially with regard to authorisation to spend and periodic review.
  • Take ownership of and ensure commercial compliance.
  • Proactively and effectively engage with all stakeholders – internal and external.
  • Complete and comply with all operational site H&S requirements to ensure safe working practices.
