Description SUMMARY CLOOS Robotic Welding is a sales, engineering and service subsidiary of a distinguished international robotic welding manufacturing company that is actively seeking candidates to fill a Project manager position to execute arc welding automation projects with moderate complexity at their Schaumburg, IL facility. In this position, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and implementation of projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and budgets while continually looking for way to improve processes to delight the customer experience with CLOOS Robotic Welding. Essential Functions: Serve as point of contact for the customer, sales, engineering, and service for projects. Manage multiple projects or programs simultaneously. Includes travel nationally and internationally as required by the project. Work with a continuous improvement mind-set so that all activities become inputs and improvements for future projects. Work together with the Senior Project Manager and other staff to plan, monitor and manage the project schedule and costs. Provide status reporting with project milestones, deliverable dependencies, risks and issues to the Senior Project Manager. Manage customer expectations and own the customer support process in its entirety. Assume responsibility for new projects from the submittal stage through completion, including the oversight of engineering drawings, other submittals and project closeout. Consistently and professionally communicate with customers, vendors, subcontractors and internal customers. Provide project schedules as required. Prepares for and presents project reviews both externally and internally. Ensures project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately. Participates in analysis of project profitability, revenue and margins as required. When required, prepare a recovery plan using all internal and external resources. Be able to communicate the recovery plan to CLOOS management and Customer contacts. Requirements POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor Degree in Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent 5+ years of formal, dedicated project management experience Experience / Abilities: Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Demonstrate the ability to confront situations that need resolution, no matter how uncomfortable the situation is. Possesses sensitivity and acts appropriately with varying cultural societies. Ability to support the needs of and interact appropriately with cross-functional personnel. Excellent communication and natural leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills are required. Strong knowledge in automated machinery and engineering is highly desirable, but not required.
