Description Our Gainesville, Georgia, office is looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will get to manage and plan detailed phases of engineering work for commercial and residential projects. What You Will Do: · Interpersonal Skills: Collaboration is essential, as we work together to achieve shared goals. You'll interact with engineers from various specialties, as well as with contractors and operators who bring designs to life. Strong teamwork and communication skills are key to succeeding in this role. · Imagination: Many of our designs are part of larger, interconnected systems. You should be able to visualize how your proposed designs will integrate with other components, including personnel, equipment, and the environment. · Problem-Solving Skills: Designing facilities and processes often requires tackling multiple challenges simultaneously. Being proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues helps protect the company from losses, ensure worker and public safety, and reduce environmental impact. · Adaptability: Our work environment is dynamic and team-oriented. As project needs evolve, you may be required to support various production demands and take on diverse roles to ensure project success. Requirements What You Bring: Experience: 5+ years working in a consulting firm Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. Licensing: EIT license with the ability to obtain a Georgia PE within one year Technical Skills: Experience with municipal code and review, site planning and design, site grading and earthwork, stormwater design and modeling (ICPR preferred), project entitlements (zoning, land use, and permitting). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office. The things about us you will appreciate!
