OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and project coordination, with experience in utilizing various construction management software. In this role you will be cross-training with senior members of the team and take on projects from the preconstruction phase all the way through closeout. This role requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, follow-up and follow-through.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional written and verbal communication is a must for working with subcontractors day in and day out
  • Proven experience in construction management or project engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, and Word), Bluebeam, ProCore, etc.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Create working relationships with entire construction team
  • Consistent follow-up and follow through with tasks and communication to internal and external parties
  • Positive attitude required for forever changing environment
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Prepare/process/track submittals
  • Issue RFI’s with assistance from project managers as well as track and distribute to field personnel and subcontractors
  • Generate and continuously update material procurement logs
  • Prepare jobsite scope binders/plans/construction documents for field use
  • Assist project managers with marking up prints etc. in programs such as Bluebeam
  • Update project schedules with assistance from team
  • Utilize Sage 300 (Timberline) project management and accounting software effectively and accurately
