DESCRIPTION:

Who Are CPP?
CPP is a leading high-voltage infrastructure provider, connecting renewable energy projects to Australia’s electricity grid.
As a member of Quanta Services, a Fortune 200 company, we specialise in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of substations, transmission lines, wind farms, and battery storage systems.
Established in 1996, we’ve connected more wind farms and renewable batteries than any other company. With over 700 employees and offices in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, we partner with Australia’s major transmission providers to deliver innovative, end-to-end solutions.
Join us in shaping the future of energy.
Construction
CPP is Australia’s leading provider of end-to-end substation solutions for utilities and the renewable energy sector, delivering design, installation, and maintenance services up to 500kV. Specialising in both greenfield and brownfield projects, we have successfully delivered over 100 HV substations nationwide.
As the country’s most experienced contractor in Balance of Plant (BoP) services, we have connected more wind farms and battery storage systems (BESS) to the grid than any other provider. Our one-stop-shop approach covering design, civil, manufacturing, electrical works, grid connection, and commissioning, ensures seamless project delivery.
The Opportunity
Our Project Engineers play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the technical aspects of our projects. They provide comprehensive project management support, contribute to the development of both primary and secondary design aspects, handle procurement, offer site construction support, implement quality systems, assist with tendering, and support reporting and testing/commissioning activities. Acting as a conduit between the design and construction teams, they ensure seamless communication and collaboration, translating design intent into practical construction outcomes. Reporting to the Project Manager, they are responsible for the successful completion of HV system design and construction as part of the project team.
