Your tasks:

• Development, design and evaluation of electro-hydraulic control systems for ship loading arms
• Analysis of customer requirements and technical implementation, taking into account budget and deadlines.
• Independent handling of customer projects, including the creation of technical drawings, parts lists and documentation, coordination with customers and external partners, as well as planning and support of trials and tests.
• Preparation and implementation of make-or-buy decisions within the framework of partial insourcing of control systems
• Supporting the sales team in preparing technical proposals
• Potentially taking on a management role within the control department (4 employees) in the future

Your qualifications:

• Successfully completed studies in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in the field of electro-hydraulic control systems
• Experience in the design and analysis of safety-related control systems (SIL, IEC 61508/IEC61511)
• Knowledge of PLC programming is desirable.
• Ideally, knowledge of the ATEX, low voltage and EX protection directives.
• Proficient use of MS Office and CAD systems
• Very good German and good English skills
