Description:
WestCorp Solutions is seeking Project Engineer, Coordinator candidates for our client east of Regina, SK. The position is focused on project coordination and execution, rather than design or discipline-specific engineering. This position will be on a fixed-term contract with the potential for further extension based on the client’s requirements. The working schedule would be 10 days on, 4 days off.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- P.Eng or E.I.T. designation required.
- 5+ years of experience in project engineering or similar roles in mining, oil and gas, or heavy industry.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and ensure clear communication.
- Familiarity with project management tools is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate engineering activities across contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ensure project deliverables meet scope, schedule, and quality standards.
- Act as a technical liaison between project management, procurement, and construction.
- Review project documentation, including schedules, reports, and work packages.
- Identify and address risks related to engineering tasks.
- Support project planning to align engineering activities with milestones.
- Oversee contractor compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Address technical queries (RFIs) to keep projects on track.
