Description The primary duty of the Project Engineer will be to assist the Site Superintendent with the day-to-day management of on-site operations - from project preparation through final acceptance by the client – ensuring projects are completed in accordance with the approved design, within the established budget and on time. Duties include coordinating project documentation as required by contract; assisting with the coordination and scheduling of all on-site activities; documentation of any and all field problems; and ongoing client and subcontractor relations. Requirements Technical training; degree in engineering or other construction-related field desired. Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and project scheduling software required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Ability to work nights and weekends along with overnight travel required. Physical: Must be able to work in an outdoor environment which includes: routine walking, talking, sitting, standing, seeing, and the capability of lifting up to 50 lbs. Tolerant to working in an atmosphere with exposure to rain, cold, snow, heat, noise, fumes and dust. Ability to travel flights of stairs multiple times a day on multi-level projects
