PROJECT ENGINEER

The successful Project Engineer will have a minimum of 2+ years of demonstrated relevant experience. Qualified with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science or related field required.
The Project Engineer is responsible for leading or collaborating within a team to execute CAPEX and non-CAPEX projects from initiation to handover.
This role ensures the projects adhere to Good Engineering Practices (GEP), regulatory requirements, and quality standards, ultimately contributing to the efficient and compliant operation of the facility.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Project Management: Lead engineering projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting quality and regulatory standards.
• Compliance & Quality: Maintain FDA, cGMP, and corporate quality compliance; ensure audit readiness and successful outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams, global functions, and external vendors to align projects with business objectives.
• Budget & Resources: Develop and manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets, optimise resources, and support capital investment decisions.
• Technology & Innovation: Identify and implement new technologies to enhance manufacturing, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Validation & Change Management: Oversee validation, equipment qualification, and change control to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• EHS & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and promoting a safety culture.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project records, validation documentation, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in engineering principles and practices, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.

• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software.Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and standards.
