About the Position

Durack are looking for a highly driven and focused Civil Project Engineer. Our Project Engineers are committed to delivering quality results, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.

Qualifications & Capabilities Required

Bachelor of Civil Engineering with minimum 4 years experience
Drivers license and Construction White Card
Experience in civil engineering or construction is essential, as is a professional attitude and strong work ethic
Must be willing to travel to various sites across QLD & NSW
TMR and RMS specification experience is highly regarded

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with the on-site project team to ensure timely delivery of projects from a cost and time perspective
Manage construction planning and programming
Significant input in implementing & managing project Quality Systems and ITPs
Major procurement, quote requests & supplier management
Subcontractor management
Cost tracking, monthly progress claims and reporting
Managing and guiding junior Engineers
Maintain and apply all relevant standards and polices
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Rosters generally 5 on 2 off or 10 and 4 or 2 weeks on 1 week off
Some office time also
Assisting with tendering as required

We are a Civil Contractor specialising in roadworks - pavement & stabilisation, culvert upgrades and DFRA flood restoration work primarily for local government. Based in South-East Queensland, we have successfully completed projects across most of regional Queensland and Northern NSW, including remote areas.

Pay: $120,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
