We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Project Engineer E&I to join us in our Gas Operations East team Brisbane, QLD on a Permanent Full Time basis. Reporting to the Team Lead Project Delivery QLD, you will play an important role in providing technical support across all project phases, ensuring designs align with operational needs and APA engineering standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare engineering designs for concept, front end including detailed and construction stages of projects Develop detailed engineering design documentation including calculations, SOW, specifications, datasheets, reports, drawings etc. Prepare and review engineering work packs for tender, purchase and site construction/commissioning works. Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning and handover to operations. Engage and liaise with stakeholders (both internal and external) across all phases of project(s) to ensure project objectives are met. Your background Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering (required) Experience across design, construction, commissioning, operations or maintenance within gas transmission or related industries Familiarity with Australian standards, codes and regulatory requirements (e.g. AS/NZS 3000) Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly share ideas and insights Collaborative approach with the confidence to build relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders Exposure to hazardous area standards (AS/NZS IEC 60079) and experience in configuration, testing or commissioning of industrial automation & SCADA systems (e.g. Rockwell PLCs like ControlLogix/CompactLogix, Emerson ControlWave Micro, Schneider SCADAPack or GeoSCADA) — transferable experience is highly regarded.
