Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

Assists Project Manager with scope definition, planning and daily execution of the construction project. Responsible for maintaining certain aspects of the project schedule and managing the process of submittal approvals, coordinating the timely delivery of materials, maintaining schedules and budgets.
Responsible for all technical aspects of the project throughout the Construction phase.
Ranging from scope definition, design reviews, Technical Query’s (TQ’s) etc, looking after subcontract works on site, qualification of cable calculations, final As-Bult checks, assisting the Project Manager and ensuring the project is run safely and to programme.

What you’ll be doing

  • Carry out design reviews of power distribution and protection systems for both LV & MV.
  • Contribute to any relevant VE (Value Engineering) process that occurs and attendcustomer/internal meetings as applicable.
  • To direct and coordinate all project electrical engineering issues related to equipment specification, procurement, and installation design.
  • Provides expert technical support and liaising directly with clients.
  • Ensure that packages are delivered to programme, budget, safety and qualityexpectations/standards.
  • Ensure accurate and complete records are kept, including RFIs, FCDs, WPPs, MCRs,ITPs, Record Drawings and other project communications/deliverables.
  • Identifying risks to the Project Management team associated with the delivery of their works raising EWNs as appropriate.
  • Monitor performance of supply chain against planned activities and escalate asrequired to achieve planned output
  • Draft site instructions for review and issue by Project Management team includingdetailed descriptions of works required, location, programme impact, cost impact and reference to any client led change event.
