Description

At Ramelius Resources, gold mining is more than a business — it’s part of who we are. With strong cash flow, bold growth plans and a commitment to sustainable mining, we’re investing in new technology and exploration to shape the future of gold production. Our people are at the heart of it all — driven by purpose, supported by opportunity and united by ambition. When we grow, you grow.

The Rebecca-Roe Gold Project is one of Ramelius Resources' flagship growth projects, involving the construction of a major greenfield mining and 3.25Mtpa processing operation that will establish a long-life, standalone gold production hub in Western Australia's Goldfields. The project will transform our operating footprint and form a key part of Ramelius' pathway to becoming a 500,000-ounce-per-year gold producer.

The Role

As the Project Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I), you will play a key role in the successful delivery of electrical, instrumentation, control and power infrastructure scopes across major mining construction projects. Working across the full project lifecycle, you will provide technical leadership from project development and design through to supporting construction, commissioning and operational handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Lead the delivery of E&I project scopes from design through to commissioning and handover.
  • Define project requirements, scopes of work and technical deliverables.
  • Manage engineering design to meet safety, quality, schedule and budget objectives.
  • Coordinate interfaces across power generation, electrical distribution, process plant and control systems.
  • Support procurement activities, including technical evaluations and vendor management.
  • Resolve technical issues and manage engineering changes during project execution.
  • Coordinate and support site construction and commissioning activities to ensure successful project delivery
  • Oversee contractor and consultant performance to achieve project objectives
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure effective communication across project teams.

About You

You are a motivated and technically capable Electrical Engineer with experience delivering electrical and instrumentation scopes across mining, resources, industrial, or infrastructure projects. You bring strong project engineering skills, a collaborative approach to stakeholder management, and a commitment to safe and successful project delivery.

You Bring

  • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience delivering electrical and/or instrumentation projects in mining, resources, energy or heavy industry.
  • Knowledge of power generation, HV/LV distribution, substations, instrumentation and control systems.
  • Experience supporting projects through design, construction, commissioning and operational handover.
  • Strong contractor and consultant management skills.
  • Sound understanding of project controls, including scope, schedule and cost management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and technical issue resolution.
  • A strong commitment to safety, risk management and continuous improvement.

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary with generous bonus & benefits scheme
  • Permanent, Perth-based role in our corporate head office
  • Dynamic and fast paced environment where you will contribute to company success
  • ASX100 business with demonstrated success and sustainable growth strategy
