Responsibilities Your mission: Oversee construction projects to ensure they are completed according to the contract. This includes observing construction, reviewing and signing documents, and communicating with MSA staff, contractors, and clients. Communicates professionally with clients, contractors and builds ongoing business relationships Perform engineering calculations for the analysis, study, and design of specific project aspects. Utilize electronic tools such as GIS, models, BIM, for project analysis, study, and design. Assist in creating cost estimates for projects. Instruct technicians on drafting for the projects you design. Conduct field investigations or inspections ranging from visual observations to detailed measurements using specialized equipment. Qualifications WHAT YOU BRING Education Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering or related field. Experience Four years of relevant, post-graduate mechanical engineering experience Required knowledge and skills Knowledge of the philosophies, principles, practices, and techniques of engineering Proficiency with digital tools, which may include Microsoft Office, GIS, BIM, or others Advanced interpersonal skills for facilitating relationships with colleagues Creative problem-solving skills to solve new and challenging problems Ability to mentor less experienced staff The selected candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future. The salary for this position ranges from $79,000 to $126,500 per year, commensurate with experience. Higher compensation within this range will be paid to candidates with significant experience and exceptional qualifications.
