Elevation Recruitment are working with a global process engineering business to help them recruit a Lead Project Engineer for their site near Sheffield to drive high-impact projects from concept to completion
We’re looking for a seasoned Lead Project Engineer to take the helm on a variety of exciting, business-critical engineering projects ranging from £100K to £3M. If you’re passionate about delivering complex projects safely, on time, and within budget—and thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment—this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.

• Take ownership of end-to-end engineering project delivery—from feasibility studies and cost estimation to execution, commissioning, and final handover.
• Manage day-to-day project execution while supporting Senior Project Managers and a cross-disciplinary engineering team.
• Lead the safe, timely, and budget-conscious delivery of multiple projects across operations in the UK and Ireland.
• Oversee on-site activities including contractor management, permit-to-work systems, mechanical and electrical installations, and testing and commissioning.
• Ensure all engineering work aligns with Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) standards and complies with statutory and internal policies.
• Be a key player in creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture where innovation, safety, and excellence are at the forefront.
