JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Project Engineer – Electrical with expertise in Low Voltage Switchgear to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead projects from design through commissioning, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with standards, and effective coordination with all stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • 3–5 years of experience in low voltage switchgear projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar design tools
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and electrical calculations
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and under pressure
  • Valid driver’s license/passport for occasional field/site visits
  • Experience in harmonic simulation studies (preferred)
  • Proficient in MS Project or similar tools

Responsibilities
  • Lead LV switchgear projects from design to commissioning.
  • Create panel layouts, wiring schematics, and technical drawings using AutoCAD/EPLAN.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC 61439, BS standards, and local regulations.
  • Perform electrical calculations (short circuit, load flow, voltage drop, harmonics).
  • Prepare BOQs, technical specifications, and submittals.
  • Track and manage project schedules using MS Project or similar tools.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and site teams.
  • Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and vendor negotiations.
  • Enforce safety standards and review risk assessments.
