Description
We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our expanding team. The individual will be responsible for assisting Project Managers in all aspects in the delivery of Smoke Ventilation and Fire Alarm Systems. The Project Engineer must have a background within the industry and be able to liaise confidently with clients, project managers and senior management. Responsibilities Delivery of risk and method statements Collating detailed project reports including quality and progress Co-ordinate onsite deliveries Assist accounts department with all project related debt Ensure good cost control across projects and advise the business of profit/loss Ability to communicate effectively with subcontractors Ensure resources are available in line with the clients program and monitor progress To ensure all information and certification for the FDS life safety installed systems is adequately prepared accurate and issued in a timely fashion Computer literate Team Player who is prepared to go the extra mile for your clients and colleagues when required. with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Self-motivated approach to work, and exhibit the companies’ vision and values Smart and Presentable appearance Ability to work with multiple discipline projects Decision making ability Time management and organisation skills Hold a UK Driving License Salary negotiable, dependent upon skills and experience 23 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, rising to 25 days annual leave at 2 years service, 27 days annual leave at 5 years service and 30 days annual leave at 10 years service Company performance related bonus at Directors discretion Company mobile phone Company uniform and PPE Life insurance and long term sickness benefit Private Health Care (Optional on completion of probation period)
