EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • M.Sc. or higher degree in Power Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics.
    You’ll need to dream big to invigorate our way of working. Bring your fresh vision, enthusiasm, strong knowledge, and great communication skills to this role to develop next-gen technologies in a team environment. Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

As a Project Electronics Engineer (/Global Component Responsible), you play a cross-functional role in developing Electrical hardware and electric motor drive system with the stakeholder in focus in an ever-changing environment. You will be working along with highly skilled engineers and interact within internal and external partners. You act as a great support to group manager planning and process.

YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES WOULD LOOK LIKE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Providing the Volvo Group with process support and expertise within the competence area
  • Running cross-functional tasks and activities within team and organization
  • Contributing to process and development works with suppliers and technology partners
  • Participating and providing technical results in product development projects and advanced engineering
  • Contributing to planning with a strategic approach
  • Evaluating technical solution and preparing technical requirement and documents
  • collaborating and conducting test plan and time plan
  • Supporting engineers within the process area, help them within its administrative areas
  • Engaging in internal and external networks and collaboration with industry and academic partners
  • Work cross functional with both internal and external suppliers with high respected personality
  • Flexible to be aligned with management strategy

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL REQUIRE PARTS OF FOLLOWING EXPERIENCES:

  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive product development.
  • High skills in communication and collaboration and making network within organization.
  • Experience in electrical hardware development, specifically in electric motor drives and electromobility.
  • High skilled to present by presentation tools
  • Experience from working with JIRA, KOLA, PTM, e-weaver or similar tools, EDAIR, PPAP, PAA and process tools
  • Experience in TR (technical requirement) driven development by suppliers
  • Experience from working with internal stakeholders and project managers
  • Experience from working with supplier
  • Experience from working with agile development principles
  • Ambitious to collaborate with people in developing technical tasks
  • Experience/knowledge of automotive standards,
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
