We are the proud owner of a patented casting process that supplies coiled aluminum sheet to the packaging and automotive markets with a broad range of alloys, thicknesses, and coatings. Job Summary: We are seeking a Project Engineer to actively engage with the management team to develop, design, manage, and implement mechanical projects affecting the facility and production processes while providing engineering support for plant modifications, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and equipment and procedural training as required. The responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Successfully define and manage scope, schedule and budget for all assigned projects. · Responsible for Contract Management against purchase orders, terms and conditions, and all other project requirements. · Design, plan, layout, site development, and installation of facility and manufacturing equipment. · Project management responsibilities to include solution concept generating, project cost justifying, identifying and qualifying contract bids, assessing and controlling costs, maximizing return on capital projects, and evaluate engineering controls and options to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. · Provides engineering solutions to management to ensure full process capability and offer suggestions for continuous improvements and capital improvements. · Interacting, overseeing and inspecting any contractor work. · Formally communicate projects, costs, recommendations, and concerns to management team. · Work to ensure close coordination between operations, maintenance, and engineering to ensure risk identification and the respective mitigation plan. · Communicates with multiple internal groups, external customers and suppliers. Requirements · BS in Mechanical Engineering is preferred or equivalent technical experience or degree. · 3+ years in the industry, with 2 years of Project Management experience. · Proven track record in leading and directing the work of other individuals assigned to the team to include: engineers, designers, drafters and document coordinators to achieve project goals. · Ability to lead project teams within a matrix organization. · Maintain a positive attitude and promote a teamwork mentality. · Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects. · Strong interpersonal, teambuilding and communication skills with all levels of the organization · Programs experience: MS office (Word, excel, Power Point), AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Microsoft Project or similar. · Must be detail oriented. Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 (Dependent on Qualifications) Benefits include profit-sharing plan as well as 401k, medical, dental and vision benefits.
