  • A qualified project engineer (m/f/d) specializing in charging infrastructure is sought on a freelance basis for the planning and construction of the charging infrastructure for an electric bus fleet at a central depot. You will oversee and coordinate the project throughout all phases – from concept development to commissioning. Working as part of a team of four colleagues, you will collaborate closely with another contact person and report directly to the Head of Technical Building Systems / Electrical Systems.Framework dataStart: October 1, 2026Duration: 6 - 12 months with option to extendWorkload: For the initial training period, we plan for a weekly working time of 30-40 hours. Depending on the status and progress of the project, the weekly working time will be reduced to approximately 20-25 hours as the project progresses.Location: During the initial training and at the start of the project, a significant amount of on-site work in Bonn is required. As the project progresses, the work location can be flexibly agreed upon according to project requirements.Skills:Ideally, an electrical engineering background with demonstrable expertise.Sound knowledge in the field of charging infrastructure, especially for e-buses (DC charging including medium voltage connection and recording of the entire energy flow)Experience in the preparation of specifications and sound practical experience in typical construction management functionsKnowledge of how to handle relevant funding measuresQuick comprehension for familiarizing oneself with the project and the existing project documentsIdeally, experience in using CAD software to create plans and sketches.Preferred arrival/residence from the Cologne/Bonn area or the Rhine-Sieg region
