We are currently seeking several Project Engineer II in the field of Electronic Security to join our Honeywell Building Automation’s team. Reporting to the Engineering Program Supervisor, your focus will be leading the engineering delivery of assigned security projects within your remit.

KEY EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES:

  • Engineering degree or considerable experience in an electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering field or trade
  • Minimum 2 years related experience with Security and BMS (advantageous)
  • Expertise in electronic security systems engineering (hardware and software)
  • Some knowledge of virtualization systems and network (layer 3) is beneficial
  • A solid understanding of high-end security applications, including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Detection, Intercom Systems, Integration Platforms, and others
  • Can travel to project locations when requires especially during commissioning
  • Holds Security clearance
  • A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
  • Good communication - both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities
  • Electronic security systems engineering, implementation, integration, and documentation
  • Identification of customer needs on-site and translating these into workable solutions
  • Configuring software, bench testing, FAT, and delivering commissioning packages
  • Provision of technical direction and support of project team members, including planning / scheduling and quality assurance
  • Delivery of project engineering requirements within budget, scope, and schedule
  • Controlling risk and briefing management on these risks
  • Sales Assistance and the provision of project estimates
  • Understanding the project contract and scope of work
