They support activities such as resource planning, scheduling, in addition to contributing technically to initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Support and lead development of detailed engineering project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Lead the design and development of deliverables to all specifications. * Perform 3D modeling and drafting using SolidWorks and/or CREO. * Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with technical requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations. * Oversee the creation and validation of engineering drawings and specifications. * Troubleshoot design and production issues, implementing solutions to improve system performance. * Evaluate design changes and ensure their integration into the final product. * Act as a liaison between engineering teams, program management, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure design intent is met. * Plan and oversee testing of hardware to validate performance and reliability. * Analyze test results, identify failure modes, and recommend corrective actions. * Support prototype development and iterative design improvements. * Identify opportunities for design optimization and cost reduction. * Stay updated on advancements in aerospace technology and incorporate innovative solutions. * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team. * Identify technical and schedule risks and develop mitigation strategies. * Interface with customers to define requirements and resolve technical issues. * Present project updates, design concepts, and test results to clients and upper management. * Uphold the company core values. * Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved. * Monitor project progress and make adjustments to ensure timely delivery. * Report project status and metrics to stakeholders and management. * Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align project goals. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, RF/Electrical Engineering or other related Engineering degree. * At least 3 years related experience. * Ability and willingness to obtain a US Secret Security Clearance * Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision. * Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed. * Keen attention to detail. * Experience with passive RF antenna components, feeds, and assemblies desired. * Excellent interpersonal skills with an authentic desire to build relationships, share knowledge, and positively impact. * Excellent communication and presentation skills. * Strong critical thinking skills. * Working knowledge of GD&T. * Familiarity with MS Projects. * Working knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD software experience. * Working knowledge of analysis software.
