As an Industrial Security Systems Project Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a key role in the development of projects in the field of industrial security. You will be responsible for designing, configuring and testing access control systems, CCTV systems and fire systems. In addition, you will be part of the team in charge of the implementation of projects at the customer’s site. You will report directly to our infrastructure team and will work at our location in Santiago de Chile, with the possibility of traveling to the field if necessary. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the safety and security of our customers, ensuring that security systems are optimally designed and configured. You will be part of a collaborative team and work closely with other professionals to meet project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure and test access control systems, CCTV systems and fire systems
• Implement projects at the client’s site, ensuring proper installation and operation of security systems
• Collaborate with other professionals in the development of industrial security projects
• Interact with the client and work under pressure to meet project requirements
• Keep updated on new technologies and trends in the field of industrial security.

Must Have

• Technical degree or engineering degree in instrumentation, computer science, electronics or electrical
• Minimum 5 years experience in the field of industrial security systems (access control systems, CCTV systems and fire systems)
• Availability to travel to the field if necessary
• Intermediate English
• Experience in the mining industry
• Knowledge in communication networks (Configuration/Development of communication networks)

Nice to Have

• Experience providing customer support
• Knowledge of Autocad and Project
