Job Description As a Project Engineer, you will join the Bristol-based team to support our activities within the aerospace sector. You will support the delivery of capital investment (CAPEX) projects focused on the acquisition, installation, and industrialisation of new manufacturing equipment. Working closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams, you will manage projects from initial concept and supplier selection through to equipment installation and operational readiness. Location: Bristol On Site: Full-time Clearance: Clearable Experience Level: Junior to Mid Key Responsibilities: Manage CAPEX projects related to the acquisition and installation of new manufacturing equipment Coordinate supplier tender processes, evaluation, and selection Support the delivery of projects ranging from £50k to £40m in value Oversee equipment installation and commissioning activities within manufacturing environments Monitor project schedules, costs, and risks to ensure successful delivery Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure industrialisation requirements are met Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders Qualifications Required Skills: Experience managing CAPEX or industrialisation projects within engineering or manufacturing environments Strong understanding of project planning and delivery methodologies Familiarity with APM project management frameworks or tools Ability to coordinate suppliers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Required Qualifications: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience. 3–5 years’ experience within engineering project delivery or manufacturing environments Desirable Skills: Experience within the aerospace or defence sector Experience supporting equipment procurement and installation within manufacturing facilities Knowledge of industrialisation processes and manufacturing readiness APM certification or formal project management training Additional Information Why join us?
