Job Summary Al Marwan Group is looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Roads & Infrastructure to support the planning, execution, and successful delivery of infrastructure and road projects across the U.A.E. This role requires strong technical knowledge, effective site coordination, and hands-on experience in managing engineering activities in line with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The Project Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth and efficient project execution. Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in planning, execution, and monitoring of roads and infrastructure projects Coordinate daily site activities to ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and schedules Review and implement approved shop drawings, method statements, and ITPs Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for technical clarifications and approvals Monitor site progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and manpower on site Identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues Support quantity surveying, measurements, and material planning Assist in preparation and closure of RFIs, NCRs, and technical queries Ensure works comply with contract requirements and project specifications Attend site coordination, technical, and progress meetings Support testing, inspection, and project handover activities Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 5 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects in the U.A.E Experience in RAK projects is an advantage Strong knowledge of roads, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure works Good understanding of U.A.E construction standards and regulations Experience working under FIDIC contracts is an added advantage Valid U.A.E driving license preferred Skills Roads and infrastructure project execution Site supervision and coordination Technical drawings and specifications review Quantity measurement and material control Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills Quality control and HSE compliance AutoCAD (Civil 3D knowledge is an advantage) Knowledge of U.A.E construction standards and practices
