Martell Electric is a medium sized electrical contracting firm located in South Bend, Indiana providing electrical, highway specialty, renewable energy and telecommunication services to customers located in Indiana, Michigan, Illinois and Iowa.
We are seeking a recent electrical engineering or civil engineering graduate (or someone with applicable experience) for an entry-level Project Engineer position in our Infrastructure Division that will help manage all aspects of the project with the guidance from the Project Manager. All aspects of the project include, but are not limited to, safety, quality, organization, planning, scheduling, subcontractor communication and day-to-day manpower and material coordination.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Plan and Coordinate project start-up
• Maintain document controls
• Maintain drawing, submittal, change requests and RFI logs
• Assist with project schedule coordination
• Expedite Material
• Walk project site on a regular basis
• Resolve coordination, engineering and/or construction problems with team
• Assist with cost estimates
• Represent the company professionally at all times
• Ensure compliance with all safety requirements
• Assist with project close-out at completion
