QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering degree, Preferably Instrument & Control
  • 12 + years of experience through multiple function and project assignments in Engineering, Construction, and Project Management and controls activities.
  • Good understanding of Project management elements and standards including Contract terms and conditions
  • Good knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, Resource allocation, Contract Management and Administrative functions.
  • ADNOC Brownfield Projects Technical Experience is an advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Management Team in planning, organizing, and managing project activities for successful execution.
  • Able to actively coordinate, find solutions and support the project management.
  • Follows-up and coordinates the various contracts of the project to ensure interfaces are properly defined and monitored to avoid delays to the project; proposes and implements remedial actions if necessary
  • Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support the preparation of project progress reports, identifying potential delays and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in technical discussions and resolve engineering challenges during design and construction phases.
  • Responsible for the completion of the assigned work scope consistent with the Project Objectives and in accordance with the technical and commercial requirements of the Contract.
  • Reviews contractors’ invoices and monitors contracts cost in liaison with Planning and Cost
  • Serves as interface between Project Team and Contractor.
  • Ensures smooth transitions between Project stages (Engineering/Procurement to Fabrication to Installation/Construction and Commissioning).
  • Identifies critical issues and areas of concern that may affect project’s performance target
  • Maintains close liaison with sites, project originators, end users and other departments to ensure that all company procedures are adhered to during project execution
  • Reviews and endorses Changes (MOC’s) for designated project component and following approval ensures the implementation of the Change
