TITLE: PROJECT ENGINEER INTERN  REPORTS TO: PROJECT MANAGER OR PROJECT EXECUTIVE  Job Duties/General Requirements:  The Project Engineer Intern will support assigned projects to assure the highest level of accuracy and quality. This position will serve as a liaison between the client, the Project Manager and the many subcontractors to make sure a construction project proceeds safely, accurately and smoothly. This position will assist the Project Manager with project requirements including but not limited to, customer communication, complying with applicable codes, practices, quality control and safety, performance standards, and specifications.  Job Duties:  Assist in developing project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans and conferring with management.  Assist in determining project responsibilities.  Assist in reviewing project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.  Assist in preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.  Assist in equipment & material submittals.  Assist in requests for information.  Assist in document control and job file.  Assist in project closeout.  Consolidate meeting notes/minutes from multiple sources to one document.  Assist in ensuring the safety of the project.  Follow-up on requested items from outside sources.  Assist in change order pricing.  General Requirements:  Minimum of 5 years of construction (preferably HVAC) experience.  Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills are essential.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.  The ideal candidate is driven, self-motivated, and excels in an agile and dynamic environment.    THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.
