APAC Linkedin Johnson Controls APAC Linkedin Career The Power Behind Your Mission OpenBlue OpenBlue: This is How a Space Comes Alive What you will do: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Project Engineer to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems for multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of HVAC design and implementation, as well as the ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively. The Project Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet quality standards and client specifications while adhering to the principles of P&L management and profitability. Key Responsibilities: · Project Management: Lead, manage, and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and project budgets. · Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring that all systems are installed according to specifications, meet industry standards, and are fully functional before handover. · Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure all HVAC systems are tested thoroughly for functionality, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. Perform inspections and resolve any issues that arise during the testing phase. · Progress Monitoring: Monitor the progress of multiple HVAC projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project is progressing as planned and that any issues are addressed promptly to prevent delays. · Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for each project, including project schedules, progress reports, installation logs, and test reports. Prepare regular reports for senior management and clients. · Risk Management: Identify potential risks to the project timeline, quality, or budget, and proactively develop and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns. · Vendor & Supplier Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment required for HVAC system installations. Monitor the quality of materials and services provided by vendors. Qualifications: · Education: Bachelor / Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field. · Experience: Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in HVAC project management, including installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems. · Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of HVAC design, installation, testing, and commissioning, with experience in both residential and commercial projects. · P&L Understanding: Basic understanding of P&L management, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis for projects. · Project Management: Proven ability to manage and monitor multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. · Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, contractors, and suppliers. · Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a project team, as well as manage relationships with clients and stakeholders. · Certification: Relevant certifications in HVAC systems, project management (e.g., PMP), or safety protocols would be an advantage.
