About BYD Auto Hungary On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base. BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a Project Engineer to our Vehicle Production Division in Szeged. Key Responsibilities: Project support & delivery follow-up Support Class I & II factory projects; drive action items and ensure meeting outputs are completed with the required quality and quantity; support on-time completion of investment projects. Planning & coordination of supplies Review and consolidate office supply, PPE, and low-value consumable plans for departments; report requirements to the warehouse after director approval. Document control & reporting Manage receipt/issuance of controlled documents; establish and maintain electronic registers; review, summarize and report functional department performance and cancellation/termination-related data. Asset & personnel administration support Manage fixed assets, low-value items, and consumables (including stocktaking); support internal personnel adjustments/transfers and probation evaluation administration as required. Translation & knowledge management Provide daily translation support; collect, organize and archive translation materials for knowledge management; support project meetings and contract negotiations with interpretation/translator coordination. Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required: Bachelor’s degree or higher. Multilingual communication skills Confident daily use of English and Hungarian (spoken and written) additional languages are an advantage. Strong coordination & stakeholder management –Ability to work cross-functionally; solid organizational and follow-up skills. Understanding of logistics/operations management requirements (warehouse/procurement/basic admin processes). Hard-working and adaptable Able to handle a dynamic environment and willing to travel when needed.
