POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to manage and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while also maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders. Ideally you will also have experience building K-12 school buildings or something similiar.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling software and techniques.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design software is a plus.
  • Understanding of building codes and regulations relevant to the construction industry.
  • Excellent budgeting skills and experience in managing project finances.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience with K-12 education facilities projects is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of site safety practices and quality control measures.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to manage daily operations and resolve any issues that arise on site.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimating and tracking expenditures.
  • Conduct regular site safety inspections and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Maintain documentation for project progress and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
