JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Civil Project Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in civil engineering and construction project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating civil infrastructure and construction projects from planning through execution, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, timelines, and budgets.
You will work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality civil works across various project phases.

• Manage and coordinate civil engineering projects from design to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and specifications in compliance with standards and regulations.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure work is executed as per the approved plans and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules (using tools like MS Project or Primavera).
• Prepare and review BOQs, technical reports, cost estimates, and variation orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards on-site.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; resolve design and construction issues effectively.
• Oversee contract administration tasks such as RFIs, submittals, progress claims, and change management.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.
