TasksIn your role as Project Engineer / Project Designer (m/f/d), you are the main technical contact person for "your" projects – from the initial concept phase to series production. You are responsible for the design implementation in close coordination with Development, Production and the customer.Your tasks in detail:

• Technical project responsibility and first point of contact for customers and internal departments in all matters relating to constructive implementation.
• Constructive support for new developments up to the point of series production – including feasibility assessment, constructive optimization and implementation of customer requirements.
• Close collaboration with Development / Engineering to efficiently implement new concepts, prototypes and changes.
• Coordination and control of constructive changes: recording, evaluation, coordination and transfer into drawings, CAD data and parts lists.
• 3D modeling and detailed design of individual parts, subassemblies and complete assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Derivation, creation and maintenance of drawings and manufacturing documents for internal and external production.
• Creation and maintenance of project-related bills of materials (BOMs) and coordination with ERP/PDM; if necessary, triggering purchase requisitions.
• Technical coordination and documentation in the project: production documents, technical documentation, change logs.
• On-site support for prototype testing at the customer's premises (e.g., testing, assembly, adjustment, feedback collection).
• qualificationCompleted technical training (e.g., technical product designer, engineer, technician) or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
• Excellent knowledge of 3D-CAD (ideally SolidWorks) and experience with PDM and ERP systems.
• Strong project management skills: structured, solution-oriented, and reliable in communication.
• Interface strength: you can coordinate technical content and bring about decisions with customers, development and production on an equal footing.
• Willingness to travel for occasional client meetings / testing (depending on the project).
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential (regular coordination with international clients).
• Good MS Office skills and a willingness to develop further.
