PROJECT ENGINEER LIFE SCIENCES

Job Function: Responsibility for the successful design and project management of projects assigned from the proposal stage right through to handover to the client and the Service Department. You will report to the Chief Sales Officer of the Pharma Division Europe and will be a part of the European Life Sciences Team.
Location: County Kildare, with regular travel to Denmark and Switzerland

REQUIREMENTS

Education: B.Eng. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Good understanding of pharma norms, regulations, GMP, GAMP, ASME BPE.
• Familiarity with Pharma pure fluid utilities including:
• Softening
• Reverse osmosis
• Electrodeionisation
• Purification
• Multiple effect distillation
• Pure steam generation
• Storage and distribution of pure fluid utilities
• Validation of pharma systems
• General understanding of wastewater technologies.
• Ability to solve problems and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to create P & I D drawings and write Functional design Specifications.
• Be cost-conscious and be able to critically analyse new and existing designs to generate cost reductions.
• Have experience of managing multiple projects and are familiar with using project plans.
• Have strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical disciplines.
