Job Description During this internship, you will help support manage purchasing project engineering for Steering Drive Systems. A few of your key responsibilities include: Collaborate and support key functions including strategic planning, inter-departmental communication, and supplier relationship development. Oversee supplier development tasks for new components, ensuring timely sample delivery, production readiness, and adherence to implementation timelines. Contribute to team-led improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity, optimizing cycle times, and reducing failures. Perform various follow-up and administrative tasks as assigned by management. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive, Materials, or a related field). Minimum GPA of 3.0 Proficient in English (written and verbal communication). Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Ability to commit to a minimum 1-year internship period. **This internship will be onsite in Plymouth, MI. Preferred Qualifications: Analytical and structural approach. Work well independently, highly motivated, results oriented. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to develop network in very complex company culture.
