POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Engineering Manager to oversee technical execution, scheduling, and budgeting of complex projects involving rotating equipment repair, reverse engineering, quality assurance, and field services. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers and technicians responsible for delivering high-precision services including balancing, vibration analysis, dimensional inspection, and component restoration. This is a hybrid role requiring strong engineering expertise, project leadership skills, and customer-facing communication.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (required).
  • Experience in rotating equipment, industrial services, or mechanical project engineering.
  • Experience in project management or project engineering leadership.
  • Strong understanding of rotating equipment repair, QA inspection, balancing, and reverse engineering.
  • Proficient in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Budget management and cost control experience for technical or service projects.
  • Familiar with 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Geomagic), FARO measurement systems, and inspection tools.

PREFERRED SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS:

  • PMP certification or formal project management training
  • Familiarity with API, ASME, or ISO standards
  • Vibration analysis (Cat I or II), laser alignment, or balancing certification
  • Experience in customer-facing roles or field service environments
