Description Job Summary Project Engineer leads and coordinates the engineering design and evaluation processing during all phases of specific managed projects, from concept, through design to execution. Is the point of contact for client relations. Job Responsibilities Supervise and lead project assignments with project staff. Manages and perform system design, including calculations, equipment selection, layout, and drawing preparation. Plan and conduct evaluation and site observation. Review project documents, specifications, and design options; ensure code compliance through meetings and reviews. Make recommendations based on findings. Conduct site investigations and technical research to support design decisions. Apply standard engineering practices and software tools to produce high-quality deliverables. Build and develop internal and external relationships Requirements Required Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in engineering Professional Engineer License (PE) Preferred Education & Experience 6+ years’ experience Strong knowledge of relevant codes and design standards. Strong command of core engineering principles with the ability to apply them to real-world, multidisciplinary projects. Proficient in problem-solving Experienced with industry-standard software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) Competent in data interpretation and statistical analysis Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals Critical thinking and sound engineering judgement Detail-oriented and quality focused Effective communicator Salary range for this position varies between $85,000 – $130,000, depending upon applicable experience.
