JOB DESCRIPTION

• Translate client demands into clear, actionable engineering plans.
• Manage internal engineering resources and coordinate with external suppliers.
• Collaborate with our production team to identify smart, buildable solutions.
• Maintain close contact with clients, ensuring alignment and quick issue resolution.
• Handle communication with certifying bodies to secure required engineering approvals.
• Lead engineering meetings with stakeholders from various disciplines.

REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor-level background (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or similar.
• Proficiency in both Dutch and English (spoken and written)—you’ll use both daily.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Cadmatic, and Microsoft Office tools (especially MS Project).
• Preferably, some experience in the maritime industry and basic knowledge of ship certifications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A collaborative mindset—you enjoy working in a team setting.
