The Role and Responsibilities EnerMech is experiencing rapid growth and the award of multiple new contracts across Australia. We’re seeking a Project Engineer to join our high-performing team and contribute to the successful delivery of process, pipeline, and umbilical projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse scopes, including pre-commissioning, testing, and field execution. Assist in preparing engineering management and execution plans, method statements, technical procedures Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with operational requirements Develop project schedules and resource plans Support equipment selection, function testing and mobilisation planning including liquid pumps, compressors, flowmeters, filtration systems, nitrogen spreads, chemical and instrumentation. Provide engineering support and execute field operations successfully Execute umbilical testing scopes which include hydraulic flushing and pressure testing, electrical continuity testing, fiber optic testing Participate in HAZID/ HAZOP reviews and meetings Support QHSE activities ensuring compliance to project plans and procedures Interface with clients, contractor, and vendors to ensure project alignment Coordinate mobilisation / demobilisation of field personnel Track project projects and performance Support commercial team for effective project billing Maintain project records and field reports Prepare project close-out documentation to ensure successful completion and close-out of projects. The Requirements Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Project Engineer. Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, or related) with experience in pipeline, umbilical, or offshore projects. Strong knowledge of pre-commissioning, hydraulic flushing, pressure testing, and instrumentation systems. Experience preparing engineering documentation, method statements, and execution plans. Familiarity with HAZID/HAZOP processes and strong commitment to QHSE standards. Excellent project coordination, communication, and client liaison skills.
