Project Engineer
We are looking for a Project Engineer with a design background to work on our customer’s projects within the offshore industry. Within this role, you will coordinate end customer’s requests to the design team as well as take responsibility for the progress of each project. With us, you get to work on a variety of industrial projects and develop your career in the direction you desire.

As a Project Engineer, you will:

• Lead the technical discussion with customers during the project execution phase
• Break down engineering tasks as per technical specification
• Discuss continuously with global engineering to implement proper project process design and mechanical design.
• Following up on automation and electrical design to make sure they get qualified and fulfilled as per project technical specification
• Monitor and report the project engineering status and budget to the Project Manager
• Review engineering-related costs
• Take care of project purchasing, production, as well as FAT and delivery follow-up

Location: Espoo, Finland

To succeed, you have:

• MSc or BSc in technology
• Experience from working with technical design
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Understanding of engineering requirements in the marine industry

• Experience in the engineering of process equipment, process knowledge, electrical/automation understanding
• Proven track record of managing the technical scope of the project
• Proven track record of systematic communication with customer technical teams
• Able to instruct needs to design team and review their outcomes
• Fluent English. Other language skills, especially Finnish, German, and Chinese, are seen as a benefit
