We are currently seeking a candidate who is qualified for the role of Project Engineer/Project Manager. This candidate must have a strong technical background in custom machine design, manufacturing and testing. The Project Engineer/Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and successfully completing projects that meet all customer requirements. This role demands strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across various departments.
The role of Project Engineer/Project Manager reports to the Head of Project Management. Liburdi Dimetrics Corporation offers competitive wages. The hours will typically be Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Review contracts to define project scope, deliverables and schedule in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead and coordinate project staff to ensure project milestones, technical and quality requirements are met.
  • Develop positive working relationships with customers while communicating project status, addressing concerns and ensuring expectations are met.
  • Create and maintain key project documents such as schedules, action lists, meeting minutes, and deliverable lists.
  • Work with Purchasing and Manufacturing departments to manage Equipment Lists and Bills of Material, ensuring all materials are available when needed.
  • Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and product testing to ensure alignment of technical teams with project requirements.

Key Experience/Education:

  • Engineering Bachelor’s Degree or Engineering Technology Diploma required (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant project engineering/project management experience is required
