In this role, you will be responsible for delivering customer projects in collaboration with the customer, Valmet's expert organization, and your own team. Your main responsibility is the definition, design, testing, commissioning and start up of delivery projects. We serve paper, board and pulp mills worldwide, so you will also be able to participate in international projects. In this position, you will: Ensure delivered solutions meet customer standards and expectations. Manage the technical delivery of projects Make technical decisions, schedule tasks, supervise engineering and field installation at sites supervise and manage the implementation of delivered system training customer personnel support customer after start up ensure customer satisfaction after start up Use the customer contract as a key tool to manage scope and delivery We expect you to have A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering (paper, process, machine automation or other relevant field). Knowledge of automation technology and paper manufacturing processes. Self-adhesive laminating and/or other paper/board converting process know-how are seen as advantage. Knowledge of automation systems, links and interfaces, networks, field devices and mechanical engineering are seen as advantage. Good written and oral skills in Finnish and English are essential, other languages are beneficial. Willingness to travel is essential to succeed in the role. This role has approximately 25-40% travelling and occasionally on short notice. We also hope that you are a systematic, independent, customer and result-oriented team player. You are happy to collaborate in a network wider than your own team and you can act and make decisions even in stressful situations. You can organize and prioritize tasks and handling multiple projects simultaneously is natural for you.
