About us Raute and Raute Digital Services
Raute Digital Services is helping Raute’s customers to archive most of their production lines by offering information to decision makers and production planners on how machines have been running. We have built tools to help customer to visualize and analyze the production and their machines data in easy-to-use MillSIGHTS system. It has intuitive web base UI and mobile application to enable customer to be alert on changings in their production and machines. MillSIGHTS integrates to customers’ systems and provides data to other systems for plantwide production decision making.
About the role
As a Project Engineer you will have a key role installing and implementing MillSIGHTS systems as part of Raute project delivery. Ideally you would be positioned in Lahti area but remote work especially is possible if you have a chance for regular visits in our Nastola office.
This time we are looking for people with some knowledge of PLC-control systems like Siemens or Allen Bradley. If you are lacking this experience but you can demonstrate skills in other areas, it is still worth applying.

To succeed in this role, we would like you to have

• Hands-on experience in working with data processing, data integrations and data storing.
• Good knowledge of office tools like Excel, PoweBI.
• SW development skills in JavaScript, SQL, Visual Basic Net, C# etc.
• Knowledge of different database systems like MS SQL, MariaDB.
• Knowledge of different Server operating system like Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10 and Microsoft Windows Servers (2008-)).
• Knowledge of different PLC control system like Siemens Step7, TIA or Allen Brandley Control Logix is considered as a benefit.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure portal and Azure virtual machines system
• Passion to continuously learn new things
• Passion to build great customer solutions and solve complex challenges which customers may have.
• Confidence to take responsibility as well as honesty and openness as a member of our team.
