The Project Engineer supports the successful delivery of remedial construction projects by coordinating technical, planning, and compliance aspects across the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Project Manager/Senior Project Manager, this role is responsible for preparing and reviewing technical documentation, reviewing financial documentation, assisting with procurement and methodology development, monitoring programme progress, and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with engineering requirements, safety standards, and company procedures. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and consultants, the Project Engineer helps resolve technical issues, maintains accurate project records, and facilitates communication between operational and commercial teams. Operating in live and occupied environments, the role contributes to safe, efficient project execution while minimising disruption to clients and stakeholders. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA * Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Project Management or similar * Minimum 2+ of site engineering experience * Demonstrated experience in project engineering, with a sound understanding of project management principles * Strong working knowledge of building codes, remedial construction methods, and industry standards * Competent in planning and organising work schedules and a demonstrated ability to deliver to timelines * Demonstrated strong safety culture  * Demonstrated quality focus and information management * Demonstrated experience in effective supervision, monitoring of sub-contractors and other trades * Demonstrated experience in the commercial acumen of projects  * Demonstrated experience in providing technical assistance to site managers and/or supervisory personnel * Proven ability to lead the Request for Information (RFI) and coordinate issues that arise between client consultant and subcontractor  * Demonstrated ability to build solid relationships with the team and client * Proactive team player with the ability to work independently * Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure * High level of organisation with the ability to prioritise and multitask effectively * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Office 365 suite (Project, Outlook, Word, Excel) * Current driver’s licence * Current White Card (Construction Induction Card DESIRABLE CRITERIA * Experience with SignOnSite or similar * Experience using Procore or similar * Remedial experience highly advantageous * Bluebeam/CAD skills desirable * Working at Heights  * First aid Next Steps We are looking for a capable Project Manager who takes pride in delivering quality outcomes and enjoys working in complex environments.
