We are specifically looking for a Project Engineer to join our operations team in Sydney who have experience with the following:
· Trenches
· Shafts
· Concrete structures
· Civil structures
· Infrastructure
· Water, wastewater and stormwater Pipeline construction

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

· Experience working with a blue-collar work force
· Experience delivering construction projects
· Exposure to preparation of contractual claims and variations
· Ideally micro-tunneling experience (but not essential)
· Bachelor of Engineering or its equivalent
· Experience working on water and/or wastewater projects
· Strong leadership skills
· Demonstrable experience leading and managing safety and environment controls; and
· Strong written and oral communication skills with experience compiling reports and liaising with stakeholders.
· Knowledge of head and subcontract agreements

Responsibilities

· Coordinating and administering construction engineering activities
· Ensuring projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications
· Assisting the Construction Manager and Site Supervisor to develop daily programmes
· Ensuring compliance with client requirements and company policies and procedures
· Procuring required materials and equipment for the project
· Monitoring construction progress to ensure quality specifications are adhered to
· Assisting with contractual claims (variations, extensions of time)
· Contributing to monthly project reporting
