Purpose

  • As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing project activities to ensure successful project execution. This role involves technical and administrative duties, requiring collaboration with various team members to meet project objectives within time and budget constraints.
  • Tasks may include Interface Management, Delivery Management, Change Management, Package Management or other activities depending upon the size and complexity of the Project.

Responsibilities

  • You develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project manager and other stakeholders.
  • You coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • You conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to support project decision-making.
  • You monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • You review technical documentation, including specifications and reports.
  • You ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • You liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • You provide support and guidance to the project team throughout the project lifecycle.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • · Experience in project engineering within the oil and gas industry.
  • · Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • · Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
